2pm-5pm, LEF: Introduction to working with DC electricity. We will review wiring basics and make sure everyone is ready to move forward with the hands-on projects.

August 26

9am-noon, LEF: Workshop, direct drive part 1. Appliance and motor compatibility for different voltages. How to build and wire direct drive circuits. Design exercises. Instructor: Alexis

Noon-2pm: Lunch at LEF and break.

2pm-5pm, Magnolia: Install 90V daylight drive system. Pull wire and install receptacles.

6pm: Dinner at Magnolia.

August 27

9am-noon, LEF: Workshop, 12V battery systems. Trade offs for different battery chemistries. System design.  Sourcing compatible appliances and accessories. Wiring lights and receptacles. Instructor: John.

2pm-5pm, Magnolia: Begin installing 12V battery kit, including lights and receptacles.
